We believe the Lord wants his people in Brisbane to fast and pray more than before. See, if we went on a missions trip to a developing nation, where, lets face it, IT IS EASY - we would definitely fast and pray if we wanted to see God move in power.

HOW MUCH MORE should we fast and pray for Satan's spells to be broken in this city of Brisbane, where life is so good, and all the world's systems are working to provide a comfortable and pleasurable environment for people. There have been many who have endured great physical hardship and resisted Satan, who upon coming to a "free society" like ours, have not been able to resist the lure of materialism and spiritual laziness.

People here are NOT yet desperate to hear. That is what makes it tougher. They are fast asleep. They are perishing. Most of what they hear and see (from church people too) testifies to them that what Christians believe cannot be taken seriously. Many people in churches are also fast asleep and perishing. IT IS AN HOUR WHICH REQUIRES UNITED PRAYER AND FASTING.
