Praying for people in your House Church

The Scriptures give us models for prayer. Once you have grown beyond the baby stage of Christianity, you should be spending more and more of your prayer time praying for others - not just yourself.

The Apostle Paul's letters give us some amazing truths concerning this.

In our house churches, let us REALLY PRAY for our people. And let us pray the promises of the Word of God for them, until they learn to do this for themselves.

The Word of God expresses the Will of God.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
(1 John 5:14,15)

If we pray the Word of God for people, we are praying the will of God for them. And we are praying in power, with the understanding. It is very good to pray with the understanding, as well as with the spirit.

I've compiled some useful prayers you can pray for people in your church, and for the church in general. May it be a help to you in learning how to pray the Scriptures for people you are ministering to.
