This site is a project of Michael and Marilena Fackerell. What we believe can be found here and in many of the articles on our Christian teaching website. More details about who we are can be found here.
We believe in God the Father, maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His Only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered until Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. He descended in to hell. On the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Universal Church, the Communion of Saints, the Forgiveness of Sins, the Resurrection from the Dead, and the Life Everlasting."
We believe that Jesus died for our sins, and rose again so that we could be justified and made new by God.
We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father but by Him. (John 14:6)
We believe it is necessary for a believer to aim for a holy life if he or she wishes to enter the Kingdom of God. "The unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9)
"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
We believe that holiness and right living can only be in our lives if we depend on God and the working of His Holy Spirit, not our own efforts.
We believe in the present day operation of all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in the Bible. And we believe we should seek God and expect to practice them also, to help people. The supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit will not cease from the church except through unbelief, or at such time as we see Christ face to face, at the Second Coming (1 Corinthians 13:12)
We believe that God has created us for good works, which He prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
We believe that Jesus Christ has commanded us to preach the gospel to people. (Mark 16:15)
